I'm the daughter of Bashok, who sided with Gyokuran against his friend Hai Yo to get money to help me when I was sick. I'm also the chef at Budehuc Castle and I run a café out back. Gremio's been giving me some great stew pointers, so stop by sometime and I'll feed ya real well! I offer cooking lessons to anyone with potential and there are plenty who I'm teaching who have none, but it's not like I really have a choice, so if anyone's interested, you know where to find me. ;D

And I PWN you, Albert, so GET OVER YOURSELF~!! >O!! Yeah, and I hate Easy Bake Ovens, so there. >(

--Mamie hates Albert
(I noticed this in the numerous posts Albert's written complaining about her food, and just her person in general. It's just because Albert has that EasyBake Oven. XP)

--Mamie once put a fork in someone's slice of pie
(I can't remember who found it, but I definitely remember reading this and thinking, "Ouch. x_O" Certainly she'd have a good reason to do that, don't you think?)

--Mamie experiences unpredictable mood swings
(Frequently Yun made remarks about how Mamie was in a surprisingly "good" or "bad" mood. Yun wasn't the only one--when Bite was created, Fred made mention somewhere of Mamie's ill temper, and anyone who sticks a fork in a slice of pie must be experiencing some sort of mood-shift.)

--Mamie closes the café during the winter
(In one of Yun's posts, she mentions that the café is going to officially "reopen" soon. However, if I were to have Mamie close the café when the weather gets cold, she'd be awfully bored. :3 So for the sake of her sanity I've stretched that little fact.)

--Mamie once had a boyfriend
(This was only mentioned once by Yun, who said something along the lines of Mamie being in a bad mood because she was dumped by her boyfriend. I wasn't quite sure how to approach this when I first took Mamie, but I figured if she's as moody as other people have implied, she probably didn't take any form of break-up too well, so in the future she strays from any sort of intimate relationship. This seems to contradict her avid dislike of the Budehuc "curse", but perhaps it was by that curse she lost her boyfriend...? We can only speculate. Furthermore, since none of the characters ever mentioned dating Mamie before I selected her, I went on the assumption that she was going out with some NPC guy. XP)

--Mamie expresses insecurity about her physical appearance. Once Mamie was speaking with Sasuke and she let slip that she didn't think she was attractive. When he told her that was an odd thing to think, she laughed. Furthermore, Watari has on several occassions mentioned to her that she ought to act more "like a girl", and this seems to ruffle her feathers, so to speak. I have no intentions on making Mamie bisexual, but instead I think this simply points to a deep-rooted lack of self-confidence.

--Mamie addresses others differently. Where Cecile and Salome address others as "Sir" and "Lady", Mamie uses "Mister" and "Lady", and in the case of females, "Ma'am" when addressing someone directly. She takes pride in keeping her affairs business-like, which is probably why she does this. There are only three people in Budehuc who do not get addressed in this fashion: Rody (because for some mysterious reason none of my characters can add anything to his name XD;; ), Albert (because he's Albert), and Pahn (because...he's Pahn. ^^;;).

--Mamie cannot swim. She says she can, but obviously she can't. Sasuke has given her one lesson (and since the lake has frozen over until next summer, it doesn't look like she'll be getting another one). Why she can't is a mystery to me, since she grew up on Black Dragon Island. Go figure that out.

--Mamie has a profound fear of horses. When Percival stopped by to visit one day, he plunked her on a horse and tried to get her to ride. The horse itself scared the bejeezus out of Mamie...try and imagine what sitting on it was like. XD; Percival had to peel her out of the saddle.

--Mamie thinks Juan is a chronic liar. After Juan openly stated that Pahn was in love with Mamie, she's believed him to be a liar. Whether or not she holds true to this because she actually believes it or if she's in denial (and if this is so it could be related to her past relationship experiences as inferred) is uncertain, but as of lately I'm beginning to wonder if she's still as adamant about Juan's lack of credibility. She remains stubborn to her word, however, and has yet to admit Juan is right or wrong--she just refuses to believe him and rejects his statement, deeming it stupid.

--Mamie leaks aura like a rusty watering can. This has been proved countless times by Watari's expertise aura-reading (although, with her leaky aura, a beginner could read it. The only reason Akaghi has been unable to thus far is because he has a short attention span XD), and I don't think I need to list the instances during which this occurred.

--Mamie once ate a Kobold. When speaking with Pahn once, Mamie confided in him that she ate Kobold out of desparation while traveling on the way to Budehuc, and that it was greasy and stringy--hardly a palatable dish. Whether or not she was telling the truth or was simply saying this to impress Pahn is undetermined, but she has yet to deviate from her description of Kobold's effects on the digestive system, which leaves me to speculate that she was in fact telling the truth.

--Mamie is somewhat messy. She's often rummaging through her cabinets and cupboards during RPs,and all of the Christmas gifts she's given have been messily wrapped--one was described as "wrapped in such a way that one couldn't tell that a girl wrapped it" or something along those lines. Watari has cleaned out and relabeled the cabinets, cupboards, and shelves already before, and Mamie once mentioned to Fuuma that she was not keeping up on the inventory stock because there were jars of mayonnaise that had been sitting there for a long time. Conversely, she takes great pride in keeping her countertops and spatulas clean and freshly polished. Why Mamie can't keep her storage space clean is a mystery to me as well. It seems like she has her priorities jumbled, but I'd rather a messy cook with clean utensils than the opposite.
